I have some Egg-Siting Ideas for Easter...

Spring time is my favorite time of the year! The trees are so colorful, the flowers are colorful and fragrant. I love seeing the first signs of spring and all the buds sprouting and flowers blooming! There's nothing like the sweet smell in the air during Spring time!!! Let's talk about Easter!! Last year I made these beautiful treats for my guests. It was so much fun to create these beautiful, colorful treats. It was even more fun because I had my kids help me make them!

My Sunflower Cake was pretty amazing! I love sunflowers and I grow them in my yard every year!! It was so much fun to make a Sunflower Cake out of Peeps!!! I just baked a cake in a spring pan, covered it with yellow frosting, added the Peeps along the sides of the cake and filled the center with mini chocolate morsels!

This year, I might make these again. I also have in mind to create a beautiful centerpiece for my table. I want to grow live grass in a tray!! YES!!! LIVE GRASS!!! I also bought mini chocolate lambs, carrots, bunnies and ladybugs!! I want to create a display of all the special chocolates on my tray of grass!! Sounds outrageous but I'm so excited to try it out!! As soon as I get started I will begin to document it so you can follow me and maybe make one too!! I'm sure it will be very impressive to your guests!! I also make my own chocolate lollipops so I can add some beautiful, colorful chocolate flowers and some other special treats to my centerpiece as well!!

Here's a fun idea that kids can make!! My son made this last year and he was so proud and happy to tell the family he made it all by himself!!

Just make a regular cake in a spring form and have them cover it with white icing. Then let them add marshmallows and draw the face as seen here. Remember to add the pink jelly beans for the ears and the nose!

It is fun for the whole family to make these delicious treats together and your kids can be proud to say they created it themselves!!

I'll post more in the next few weeks leading up to Easter!! I have a lot of fun ideas I want to share!!
